Linking an Article to a Menu
After making a new article in Joomla you may want to link directly to it from a menu.
Step 1
1) Click on Menus – a drop down will appear allowing you to choose the menu you wish to add your article to
2) All your menus are listed here – click on the menu you wish to use
Step 2
1 Click on the New Button

1 Click on Articles
Step 4
1 Click on Article Layout
Step 5
1 Click Select, a new window will open
Step 6
1 Choose the article you wish to link to
Step 7
1 Add the wording you wish to appear in the menu in this title box
Step 8
1 Click Save
Step 9
1 You will see your new menu item has appeared at the bottom of the menu
2 You can reorder your menu items by using these arrows to move items up and down
3 There is no need to save at this point your menu will have been updated. Visit one of your web pages, refresh the page and your new menu item will be visable
