Edocman - adding document for downloading by visitors

adding downloadable documents to a category and making a new menu item linking to this category.

open Edocman

• click new

The new document settings - repeat this step for all your documents in this category

1. add document title
2. select the certificates folder ( or any other folder required)
3. click and choose the file from you computer to upload
4. type a short description here
5. type the full description here
6. save and close

Linking the edocman category to a menu

1. menu
2. main menu
3. add new menu item

The menu type

1. Under menu type, click select
2. a new window will open
3. under edocman choose category layout
4. this window will close

Menu Settings

1. Title your menu item, this is what will appear in the front end menu
2. Select the category you have loaded the documents to
3. click save, this window will stay open

Menu Item Ordering

1. after saving the Ordering option becomes available
2. from the drop down choose the item you wish this new item to follow
3. save and close
4. visit the front end and check your new menu item
